Terms of Use
The terms governing your use of alinity.ca. Use of the Alinity platform itself is governed by the written agreement between Softworks Group Inc. and your organization.
Last updated August 2026Acceptance
These terms of use form an agreement between you and Softworks Group Inc. ("Softworks") governing your access to and use of alinity.ca and any content, materials or functionality made available through it (the "Site"). By accessing the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Relationship to platform agreements
Access to and use of the Alinity platform is governed exclusively by the master services agreement, order forms, data processing terms and schedules executed between Softworks and the client organization. Nothing on this Site amends those agreements, and in the event of any inconsistency the executed agreement governs.
Permitted use
You may access and view the Site for your own informational and evaluation purposes, and may print or download individual pages for internal reference within your organization.
You may not copy, republish, frame, mirror, scrape or systematically extract Site content; use the Site to develop a competing product or service; reverse engineer or attempt to derive the structure of any software made available through the Site; interfere with the Site's operation or security; probe or scan for vulnerabilities without our prior written authorization; or use automated means to submit forms or collect information.
Client sign-in and credentials
Areas of the Site reserved for client use require authorized credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials issued to you, for all activity conducted under them, and for notifying us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
We may suspend or revoke access where we reasonably believe credentials have been compromised or these terms have been breached.
Intellectual property
The Site, the Alinity platform, and all software, text, graphics, layouts, screenshots, documentation and other content made available through them are owned by Softworks or its licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property law. "Alinity" and the Alinity logo are trademarks of Softworks Group Inc.
Third-party marks, including client organization names and logos shown on this Site, remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed with permission or as permitted by law. No licence to any mark is granted by their appearance here.
Submissions and feedback
Do not submit confidential, personal or registrant information through Site forms. Information you submit through a contact or demonstration request is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
If you provide suggestions or feedback about our products, you grant Softworks a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use it without restriction or obligation to you.
Informational content and no warranty
Site content, including product descriptions, capability summaries, statistics, screenshots and roadmap references, is provided for general information. Product capabilities are configured per client and may differ from what is described. Forward-looking statements about planned functionality are not commitments to deliver.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softworks and its directors, officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our aggregate liability arising from the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. These limits do not apply to a client's platform agreement, which contains its own liability provisions.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Softworks against claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Alberta.
Changes and severability
We may modify these terms at any time by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
This page is provided for information and does not constitute legal advice. Alinity’s contractual commitments to a client regulator are set out in that organization’s master services agreement, data processing terms and applicable schedules, which govern in the event of any inconsistency.
